New Pictures of Nina

Here are the pictures I have been promising.  Shows the skeg, thre recently glassed hull, the motorwell and transom.  There is a drawing on the transom that shows the internal framing for the motorwell and the cutout in the transom.  The cutout is based on Harry Bryan's plans for the Handy Billy and  is very similar to the cutout in Ninegret as well as several others of the same type.

Skeg

The skeg is just set in place to see how it fits, will need more work but pretty close.  It is made form a salvaged fir floor joist, old growth, nice piece of wood.

Transom covered in glas, gunnels and coaming in place

Here is the transom, not yet glassed, don't know if you can see the writing.  The solid line represents the cutout, the dashed line represents the internal framing.

Glassing Tumblehome Nina

Nina gets a coat of 12 ounce biaxial fabric, a fill coat of epoxy and some blended filler over a ragged bit of cloth at the bow.
