Joints on Pilot House Taped.

The pilot house is progressivly stronger as seans are taped. Roof will be strengthened wit lateral beams which will fall under the grab rails for double duty as stiffeners and as a backer for the rails but first the roof will be sheathed with 12 oz. biaxial fabric.

The After Cockpit

Because the cabin has been moved back almost to the transom, there is now only a two foot wide cockpit and a ten inch "thick" transom with storage in among the framing. There will be a bench seat on either side of the cockpit, batteries under the port seat and gas under the stbd. seat. Gas line and cables will run under the seats and thru the transom out to the motor bracket. The top of the transom will be covered with 1/4 inch plywood. The floor of the cockpit will get a layer of 6 oz. woven cloth.

Securing the cabin

Today I taped in the cabin fore and aft, then taped the joint between the upper and lower deck in the bow.  The cabin roof and side decks will be next.
