View of the modified motor well
By narrowing the opening through the hull I added 2 square feet to the planing surface and a bit more bouancy to the aft end of the boat. This is also done in Bryan's Handy Billy and the Ninegret, lots of extra work, hopefully worth it.
this is a modification of the original design with the pilot house moved closer to the stern and directly above the LCB (longitudinal center of bouancy)
